May the almighty Allah accept the prayers of all Muslims in Ghana and the world over as the celebration of the Eid ul-Adha – the Muslim feast of sacrifice – is observed, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, vice-presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has said.
The feast, which falls on Monday September 12, has seen all Muslims gathering at various areas around the country to offer prayers to the almighty God.
Dr Bawumia, a practising Muslim, on the occasion of the celebration, said on Facebook: “May Allah accept our sacrifices and answer our prayers. Have a blessed Eid ul-Adha!”
