Agona Swedru Church of Pentecost Professional Ladies Club inaugurated

The beauty of Christianity is in one's ability to worship and work peacefully with one another, Mrs Beatrice Evelyn Kwaffo, National Director of the Church of Pentecost-Ghana, Women’s Ministry, has noted.

She was speaking at the inauguration of the Agona Swedru area Professional Ladies Chapter of the Church Women’s Ministry at a special thanksgiving service at Agona Swedru in the Central Region recently.

The programme was attended by delegates from the 25 districts which form the Agona Swedru Area of the Church. The districts include Ankamu, apam, Breman Asikuma, afransi, Winneba, Abasarba, Nkum, Bobikumma, Odoben, Kwenyako, ajumako and Agona Swedru.

Mrs Kwaffo urged the Chapter members to serve humanity with their academic endeavours such as talents and prowess.

“You shall let your expertise be tapped by others, help improve the Church spiritually, socially, emotionally, morally and intellectually...”

Mrs Kwaffo advised them to respect each other’s views, be content with what they have and ensure that they polished it to the benefit of the entire society.

She added that bringing them together could help strategize ways of organising educative and recreational programmes in the Church and to support the less privileged with their limited resources.

Mrs Mary Coleman on behalf of the executive expressed her appreciation to all, whom in diverse ways had contributed towards the inauguration of the branch chapter.

According to her, the group started with a few members two years ago and had taken-off with a total membership of 323, promised to work with all their strengths, might, mind and soul towards the growth of the Church.

Mrs Coleman said as professional ladies of the Church, they should not abuse the trust reposed in them but work to complement the women’s ministry for the betterment of the Kingdom of God.

Mrs Ekuwah Asumane, Kasoa area veteran women’s leader of the Church who graced the occasion, said as disciples of the Lord, it was a duty to let God lead them in all their endeavours, especially to propagate the word of God to lost souls.

The Reverend Festus Adu Yeboah, Head Pastor, Agona Swedru Chapel Square of the Church, urged the entire members of the Club to share their experiences with others on the need to invest more in the education of children.
