In a historic move that marks a new chapter in religious leadership, Kofi Adonteng Boateng, a Ghanaian American-based theologian, preacher, and philanthropist, has been elevated to the rank of Archbishop.

This elevation which took place on Sunday, June 9, 2024, in Virginia, is a testament to his unwavering dedication and service to the Divine Word International Ministries, which he founded in 2009.

Born on July 21, Archbishop Boateng's journey into theology led him to Collins University of Ohio, where he studied Biblical Counselling and Theology. His academic pursuits culminated in receiving an Honorary Ph.D. of Divinity in 2011, recognizing his profound understanding and commitment to his faith.

As the founder of the Divine Word International Ministries, Archbishop Boateng has been at the forefront of spiritual leadership, guiding his congregation with wisdom and compassion.

His ordination as Bishop of the church was a significant milestone in his career, further solidifying his role as a shepherd to his flock.
