The Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), Bantama Central Assembly on Sunday, June 23, 2018, dedicated its newly built ultra-modern mission house, Sick Bay, and media equipment at a very colourful ceremony.

The projects were dedicated by the Chairman of CACI, Apostle Dr. Stephen Amoani and assisted by Apostle Dr. Michael Nimo, former Chairman of CACI, Apostle S.C.K Akomeah (host pastor), Rev Stanley Boadi-Attafuah and other local executives of the church.

Speaking on “Walking in the abundance of God’s riches” with scripture reference from Psalm 65:4, Apostle Amoani pointed out that God always has a purpose for blessing his children.

He explained that dedication to God, no matter what form it took, was one of the things that pleases God as it becomes a covenant between a man and his maker.

The chairman commended the members in the Church for their hard work and prayed for God’s blessing upon them.

He was also impressed with the finesse with which the building was constructed.

A brief history of the ultra-modern Mission House

The 9-bedroom house which started on February 7, 2013, was constructed at a cost of GHC971, 330 as of 23rd June 2018.

The foundation stone was laid by Rev (now Apostle) Emmanuel Owiredu.

Dedication of the Sick Bay project

The sickbay project, the “brain-child” of Apostle S.C.K Akomeah, head pastor for the Bantama Central, is of the view that people come to Church with all manner of challenges including spiritual, social and health problems.

Speaking to Ghanaweb’s Bernice Owusuwaa, Apostle Akomeah noted that the church as a social entity has a responsibility to provide interventions for dealing with all medical/health concerns of members in the church.

He added that the sick bay which is not a hospital or clinic will check blood sugar level, blood pressure of members, treat minor injuries, resuscitate unconscious persons in the church arena before being rushed the hospital and lastly serve as a center for all health events organized by the Bantama Area.

He concluded by stating that the project has become a pacesetter in the entire Christ Apostolic Church International.

Dedication of Media Equipment

Setting a record for being the first assembly to dedicate a full media equipment – still camera, video camera, duplicator, and a drone.

The new media department will help tremendously in the publicity of the church activities on both social media platforms and other media platforms.

Acknowledgement

Apostle Samuel Cosmos Kojo Akomeah commended Elder Dr Kofi Sarpong, Elder Stephen Oduro-Kwarteng and Elder Kofi Gyau for their continuous support in ensuring that experts were brought to work on the various stages to the aid in the completion of the project.
