Asoresika, an innovative online-based church donation platform, that makes it easier for churches to accept, track, record and communicate the giving and receiving of monies from people to the church has been developed.

The platform which is powered by MPower Payments is an online-based technology that enables people to pay their tithe, offering, seed offering, first fruit and partnership to their churches for worthy courses.

Mr. Harrison Enene, CEO of the company says the company is determined to making church funding easier and convenient by serving as a connecting point between churches and their members or followers.

“We intent to do this by creating a secure platform for churches to easily receive financial support from their members and followers as well as making it convenient for these members to give towards the development of the Body of Christ” he iterated.

In telling the story that inspired the development of this web application, he disclosed that the idea dawned on him while he was watching God TV, a Christian television channel based in Jerusalem about a year ago.

He told the story of how people from all over the world could easily support a project the TV station was undertaking at the time with just a click of a button.

“It was in that moment that I realized how big a challenge it was to support a church or ministry financially in Ghana. I said to myself, if this is a problem, why don’t I solve it and here we are today with Asoresika” he vividly recounted.

He averred that for a church to qualify to be on the platform, it has to be officially registered with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana.

When asked how the platform works, he said that ones a church is verified and approved, the system automatically generates a link to the church’s giving page on the platform. This link can be integrated into the church’s website or shared on social media like Facebook. Clicking on the link or donation button takes you to the churches giving page for you to decide how much to give and for what purposes.

“Once you have decided on your giving, click on the checkout button and you will be taken to MPower Payments secured website to pay with mobile money, debit/credit card or MPower.

You can also visit our official website www.asoresika.com and click on Make a Giving. You can select from a list of registered churches to support. It’s that easy”, he said.

The CEO also explained that the joy about this web platform is that, people can make their giving through mobile money and be rest assured that it is reaching the right recipient. Also, people don’t have to memorize multiple telephone numbers just to make a giving. “With just a click of a button, your donation is made securely, and that is the good thing about our platform,” he said.

According to him the platform has been built to be an easy and convenient way of funding churches and their activities.

On security, he averred that “we take security very seriously. We do not compromise on that at all. All information is encrypted with up to 256-bit SSL technology from the user’s web browser to the merchant provider and then into the actual bank. Be rest assured that you are more than safe with us”.

Mr. Enene explained that it is the vision of the company to become a leading household name in Africa and the rest of the world in delivering a user-friendly, convenient and easy service to churches.
