“As we climaxed the 2018 40 Days Prayers and Fasting, the church found it necessary to extend a hand to our neighbours because the Bible says in James 1:27 that Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
He added that CACI as a whole, sees orphans and widows as important people in the society and that, at regular intervals, they need to reach out to them to make them know their worth in society.
Apostle Akomeah expressed the hope that the donation would go a long way to solve some of the challenges of the institution.
He used the opportunity to call on the general public, institutions, and individuals to also help.
Madam Esther who received the items on behalf of all the 5 Children's Home thanked the church for the gesture.
