Bishop Noel Jones, Senior Pastor of the City of Refuge Church in Los Angeles, on Wednesday arrived in Ghana to attend the Ultimate Believer’s Convention scheduled to take place in Accra from 27th to 30th June, 2013.

Bishop Jones, who is a world-renowned Theologian, Activist, Author and Philanthropist, is in Ghana for the first time, and expressed joy at being here.

The convention dubbed: “Storm Is Over” is being organised by ‘Thou Sayest the Lord Ministries,’ a prophetic ministry under the ‘Springs Of Joy International Ministries Worldwide,’ which seeks to spread the gospel across the world by fulfilling the word of God in Acts 6:7.

Ms Madonna Sasu, an event organizer, said the Ministry, under the leadership of Dr Prophet Akwasi Agyeman Prempeh, had organised several prophetic, teaching, healing and deliverance services, conferences and conventions, which had helped to liberate many people from spiritual, social and socio-economic challenges.

The convention, to be held at the National Theatre, would also be attended by seasoned Ghanaian artists including Minister Danny Nettey, Cynthia McCauley and Uncle Ato and is aimed at uniting believers and the nation in general.

“The convention seeks to empower believers to triumph in these challenging times of economic recessions, political unrest, social upheaval and family squabbles through prayers, teachings, and intense prophetic ministrations. We believe the power of God would transcend every situation and bring total deliverance to the nation” she said.

There would be both morning and evening services on 28th and 29th, with only evening services on the other days.

Bishop Jones would host a special Business and Leadership conclave which would bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, financial institutions and other stakeholders in business.

“There will be a host of local resource persons, who have all made it professionally in Ghana. These resource persons will shed light on their experiences and together with Bishop Jones, take a holistic approach to empower and propel businesses and business owners to the next level in Ghana” Ms. Sasu stated.
