Accra, March 8, GNA - The Christ Apostolic Church International has dedicated two church buildings and a mission house for the Aflao and Akyem Tafo Assemblies respectively.
The cost of construction of the Aflao church was GH¢ 30,000.00 while the church building together with the mission house at Akyem Tafo amounted to GH¢1.5 billion. Apostle Dr Stephen Kwame Amoani, Chairman of CAC International, performed the dedication services at both functions with the assistance of Apostle Dr Emmanual O. Donkor, General Secretary of the church.
Apostle Amoani praised the pastors and the congregation of both churches for the construction of the huge edifices for the worship of God. He said dedication to God, no mater what form it took, was one of the things that pleased God as it became a covenant between man and his maker.
God therefore renewed his promise to the people of Israel when Solomon dedicated the Church he built for the people to God, Apostle Amoani said, and asked the people to also dedicate their vision in life to God to achieve success.
"When you are about to engage in any endeavour, even in a battle, you have to make a dedication so that things will not only work well for you but will help end your struggles in life. "This is because it is not by our might that we achieve our goals or receive the good things we have but all these things come to us because when we already committed what we had to God, we drew His attention to whatever we are doing."
Apostle Amoani recalled the time when Moses reminded the Israelites of the covenant that God made with them saying that the dedication ceremony was a good reminder for members of the church to commit themselves to win more souls to meet the purpose for which it was built.
Apostle Amoani further spoke about the 93Great Commission" by Jesus and asked Christians to go into the whole world to proclaim His message in obedience to what the command required. Apostle Donkor led both congregations to pray for the church, the government and the people of Ghana.
