CACI fetes Retired Staff

The Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) at the Weekend held an end of year party for the church’s retired workers, the aged the needy and widows at its National Headquarters at Osu in Accra.

The beneficiaries and their families were treated with food and drinks and also received cash prizes and assorted gifts.The Osu Church Choir also treated the invited guests to good gospel music which put them on their toes to dance their hearts out.

Addressing the gathering, Apostle Dr Stephen Kwame Amoani, Chairman of CACI, thanked God for bringing the church in Ghana and particularly for taking the country through a successful and peaceful election.

Apostle Dr Amoani entreated the members of the church to continue to pray fervently for the church leadership so they could work more in the area of planting more churches in the country and the world at large in honor of the "Great Commission".

Apostle Amoani told the gathering that it was also important that retired ministers continued to support the church although they were no longer in active service.

Apostle S. A. Saakwa, a retired Minister on behalf of his colleagues, expressed delight over the initiative of the church to reward he and his colleagues for their labor, saying the gesture had put smiles on their faces.

He commended the church policy to plant more churches and schools in all villages and towns in the country, adding that the retired staff were ready to offer their expertise in those areas.

The Rev. Atta Danso, a retired Minister noted that with the advent of the church’s policy of providing accommodation for retired ministers at places of their choice, their colleagues in actives service were not afraid to go on retirement.

Apostle Samuel Kofi Asare, former Chairman, CACI led the church to pray for peace and prosperity for the nation.
