MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE ON THE DEATH OF PROF. JOHN EVANS FIIFI ATTA MILLS BY THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHARISMATIC AND CHRISTIAN CHURCHES (NACCC)

The regrettable news about the demise of Professor John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills reached the National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches as a surprise. NACCC would like to express its sincerest condolences to the immediate family, the good people of Ghana, ECOWAS and the African Union.

Indeed, that great tree in the yard with such a soothing and abiding canopy has toppled. From where shall we draw our comfort? The world, especially Ghana and Africa, has indeed lost another great leader! All must remember that it is not how one dies but how one life that matters, therefore let us reflect on how he lived and all that he did for the cause of humanity, his faith in God and for the people of Ghana.

Professor John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills has paid his dues diligently as an academician, public servant, politician, statesman and a humble servant of the Most High God. His indelible legacies of humility, servant leadership, tenacity, peace loving, respect for rule of law and positive coexistence should serve as the bedrock of our developing democracy.

NACCC would like to encourage Ghanaians to remain calm, united and prayerful as we mourn Prof. Atta Mills.

Long live the Republic of Ghana and the good people of Ghana.
