Apostle Dr Stephen K. Amoani, Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International, (CACI) has entreated Christians to use the word of God to make an impact in their communities and the society in general.

He said: “We are Christians today because our elders impacted our lives with their Christian virtues Biblical teachings and Evangelism.”

Apostle Amoani was speaking at the Church’s Easter Convention at the Taifa Central Assembly in Accra on the theme: “Fulfilling Christ Manifesto to impact on our World.”

The general theme for the four-day national convention is “Impacting Our World.”

Apostle Amoani asked the congregation to be mindful of the need to spread the word of God to fulfil the Gospel in Isaiah 1:1 - 4 and Romans 5:17.

‘When we reach out to bring souls to Christ, we will be helping to improve on the lives of the people and also promote the development of the nation because Christianity came with education, a lot of inventions and interventions that had brought so much development in the world today.’

He said Jesus Christ made the greatest sacrifice of his life and “it is for us as Christians to also work hard to bring the changes that would impact on the lives of the people”.

The first manifesto is therefore to preach the word of God, Apostle Amoani said and asked his fellow pastors who preach about the miracles they perform just to increase the numbers of their congregation instead of making them understand and follow biblical teachings to stop the practice.

Apostle Amoani expressed the need for the Christians to be deeply rooted in the love of God so they could extend it to their families members, friends and colleagues to show that they “know and love God” who did not hesitate to sacrifice his only begotten son to save mankind.

“You will have eternal life when the love of God touches you and you extend same to all,” he stressed.

Apostle Amoani noted that Easter, which is the basis of Christianity, is to enable Christians to extend love towards to all as Christ gave his all to mankind.

The Reverend Augustine Bugyei, Head Pastor of the Taifa Central CACI led the congregation to pray for peace, for the national leadership, the Church, other religious groups and the nation as a whole.
