The Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) has announced an interdenominational memorial service for victims of last week’s flood and fire disaster, which perished almost 200 lives.
The programme scheduled for Wednesday, June 10 is meant to contribute to a national healing process, organizers say. It comes on the heels of 3-day national mourning, which started today.
The service will be held at the Osu Presbyterian Church.
On Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM on Monday, the General Secretary of the CCG, Rev. Dr Kwabena Opuni-Frimong told host Fiifi Banson the event is intended to give a national platform for families and friends to gather and remember the deceased.
