Cape Coast, April 26, GNA 97 The Reverend Dorothy Dennis, a pastor of the A.M.E. Zion Church, West Ghana conference, has asked Christians to reform, bury their differences, and forge ahead in unity. She said the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is a victory to Christians, therefore, Easter must be used as a period of individual stock taking and renewal of faith. Rev. Dennis was preaching on the theme: 93New Life in Christ" at the Varrick AME Zion Church in Cape Coast to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ. She said Easter testifies the success of Christ's mission because on that day, he conquered the worst enemy of mankind, which is death and rose in victory from the grave. Rev. Dennis said the greatest event in all history both circular and religious was the resurrection. "This demonstrates our transition from temporal to eternal and out of carnal to the spiritual to introduce us to the new realm, the everlasting kingdom of God" she declared. Rev. Wilberforce Wireko presiding elder of the church later led the congregation in prayers for mankind and the country at large.
