Christians urged to trust in God

The Achimota Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Joseph Assabil, has entreated Christians to trust in God’s faithfulness and wait to receive their blessings from Him.

Admitting that trials and temptations are inevitable, he advised Christians not to lose hope in God, adding that, “With God, nothing shall be impossible.”

According to Apostle Assabil, delay is one of the things God uses to test the faith of His children and cautioned Christians to stop giving God an ultimatum.

“God does not matter how long a Christian may have to stay in difficulties since in His owntime He will make everything beautiful,” he stated when delivering a sermon to climax the 2016 Christmas Convention of The Church of Pentecost, Doblo Gonno District within the Achimota Area on Sunday December 25, 2016.

He used the occasion to advise Christians to show appreciation to God for allowing His only begotten son to be born to save mankind from sin.

“God has shown love to mankind by giving us His son, Jesus Christ, to be born for us,” he said, entreating Christians to use the testimonies of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, among others in the Bible, to build their faith.
