Homedakrom (E/R), July 6, GNA - Apostle Kadmel Agbelenyoh, Founder of the Seventh Day Church of Theocracy, on Sunday urged Christians to intensify evangelism to help change society for the better. Apostle Agbelenyoh expressed worry that criminals such as drug peddlers and armed robbers lived in the midst of Christians, who were afraid to preach the gospel to them to enable them change their bad ways. He was preaching at the church's headquarters at Homedakrom in the Akwapim South District of the Eastern Region on Saturday. Apostle Agbelenyoh advised Christians to do their best to help transform criminals, by inviting them to join their respective churches for prayers and the word of God. He called on Christians to offer help to the disadvantaged, especially street children and orphans in the society. He stressed the need for Christians to show love and kindness to HIV/AIDS patients and not condemn them, since the disease could afflict anyone. The Apostle urged the church to address itself to issues of indiscipline, particularly among the youth and in schools. 06 July 08
