Kumasi, Aug. 31, GNA - The Church of Light Mission, Ghana, at Bohyen-Asuogya, a suburb of Kumasi, has donated items and cash to the Kumasi Children's Home. These items included eight bags of rice, sugar and a quantity of cooking oil. The Rev Salomey Amoakoaa-Adiyiah, the Head Pastor, said as Christians, they were enjoined by their faith to help make life a bit comfortable for the socially disadvantaged, the poor and the needy. She appealed to churches, organizations and institutions to lend a helping hand to the Department of Social Welfare to enable the orphans to lead normal lives.
