Prophetess Vida Gorllu, the Founder of the Mountain Camel Prayer Centre at Agona Asafo, has admonished prophets and Prophetesses to desist from using fallacious prophecies to extort  money from their members.

She said God abhorred false prophecies and they did not also advance the work of the Kingdom.

Madam Gorllu was addressing the congregation as part of the activities marking the third Anniversary of the Church at Asafo, in the Agona East District of the Central Region.

Prophetess Gorllu said false prophecies undermined the faith of Christians when on  realising that they had been deceived, while  it caused mistrust and disunity in some families.

Narrating the establishment of the Church, she said about three years ago, she and her husband and few members started as prayer camp,  but God had raised the membership to 400.

On politics, Prophetess Gorllu asked the defeated the parties to put  their disappointment behind them and assist the President-elect, Nana  Addo Dankwa Akufo - Addo to realise the vision he had for the country.

She stated that Ghanaians had spoken so the losers should not engage in any act that would frustrate or undermine the success of the incoming Government.

The victors, she said, should also not intimidate  or unjustly punish the losers.

The supporters of both sides, especially the youth, she said,  should remain calm to ensure the peace and stability the nation needed for its progress.

“There is only one Ghana  so this election should not be used in any way to divide the country or destroy us,” she said.

She commended the Electoral Commission (EC) , National Peace Council, Ghana Pentecostal Council, Christian Council of Ghana, the Media , Political Parties, Police and other security agencies for their various roles played  during  and after elections.

Nana Yamfo Asuako, the Agona Asafohen, praised the youth for not allowing themselves to be pushed into anything acts that would cause  bloodshed.
