As part of E.A. Ministries’ social initiatives, the Show God’s Love Project came off on the 7th of November, 2013 at the Accra Sempe Cluster of Schools in Jamestown Accra with the support of Helplife Foundation Gh., Faithers Inc. and Christ In You-UK. This outreach was interspersed with a donation of educational materials [exercise books, writing pads, pens, pencils, sharpeners, and coloring books] and Christian resources [devotional guides and tracts] as well as an interactive session with the pupils.
This presentation happens to be the second of E.A. Ministries in the year 2013.
In a short ceremony, the Vice President of E.A. Ministries, Yaw A. Debrah Jr. mentioned that the gesture forms part of the E.A. Ministries’ commitment to the deprived school children in Ghana by providing resources needed for them to grow into healthy contributing members of society.
He noted: “We all standing here today were once like you, we didn’t give up and we are still fighting to be better people. You must trust God and learn to keep your faith and hope alive. We believe that this expression of love will go a long way to help you to become better people as well.”
The event also afforded the team an opportunity to interact with the pupils, and the school authorities.
The Headmistress, Madam Mildred Tsekpo who received the items on behalf of the school, expressed her gratitude to the team for carrying out such an initiative. She then called on other youth groups to come to the aid of the school. After the presentation, the volunteers interacted with students and shared gifts to them. The leader of the team, Yaw A. Debrah Jr. expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Emmanuel Amponsah? the President of E.A. Ministries, Mr. Jeffery Debrah also of E.A. Ministries, Mr. Derek Ohene-Kye and Mr. Kwaku Dankyi both of Christ In You-UK for supporting the project. The Show God’s Love Project is one of the projects under E.A. Ministries.
E.A. Ministries is a Christian evangelistic project-based youth group commissioned by God to reach the world and change lives through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. E.A. Ministries is established in the United Kingdom-London, and has a branch in Accra, Ghana. For some time now, E.A. Ministries has under taken to help the less privileged children and young people in Ghana by providing the resources they need to grow into healthy contributing members of society by undertaking a project christened, “The Show God’s Love Project”. The Show God’s Love Project is a charity initiative in collaboration with Helplife Foundation Ghana and Faithers Inc. which aims at providing a lifesaving relief to those in need. According to the President of E.A. Ministries, Mr. Emmanuel Amponsah, there are three projects currently running to support the needy in society: The Show God’s Love- Charity program (donations and outreaches), The Educational Trust Fund (School and Scholarship), and The Business program (Training and Support for traders).
