Accra, Aug. 12, GNA- Elim Evangelical Church is undertaking an 800,000-Ghana cedi Secondary/Technical school project at Nsuaem in the Western Region.

The project, which would be completed by the end of December next year, was being financed by the church and its international partners. The Reverend Dr James Rexford Kojo Mensah, Leader and Founder of the church, announced this at the church's Second Annual Founder's Day Celebration in Accra on Sunday.

The day, which was under the theme: "Don't Abandon your Prophesy," was instituted to honour Rev. Mensah who founded the church 20 years ago.

Rev.Mensah said the church had also established an orphanage at Nsuaem and Osenase and a junior secondary school also at Osenase in the Eastern Region. He advised Ghanaians not to put too much emphasis on material things but remain focused on the vision and principles of the Lord.

Rev. Mensah said Ghana is God's nation and that all her people should focus on Him so that their needs and ambitions would be fulfilled.

He appealed to those who wanted to become presidents to have a second look, examine themselves properly and find out whether they had been ordained for that position.

The Founder also appealed to Ghanaians, especially women not to indulge in dressings which would tend to demean their dignity. Mrs. Mary Adu-Kyei, National Women Leader of the church also advised Ghanaians to refrain from taking strong alcoholic beverages and drunkenness.
