Nsuaem-Ashanti, May 10, GNA-Sheikh Amin Bonsu, Acting Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Muslim Mission, has called on the Muslim community to eschew laziness and work towards national reconstruction. He said some Muslims pray from all day without labouring (working)and that practise was "unislamic".

Sheikh Bonsu, who is also the Chief Executive of Amen Scientific Herbal Hospital, made the call at the official opening of a mosque at Nsuaem in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region on Sunday.

The 500-seating capacity mosque was built by the Mission under the initiative of Sheikh Abdurahman Mohammed, a Kumasi-based Philanthropist.

Sheikh Bonsu advised Muslims to eschew all form of negative tendencies which may bring the Islamic religion into disrepute.

He assured the community that the mission would soon provide social amenities for the town to improve upon their living standards.

Sheikh Bonsu was optimistic that the commissioning of the Mosque would help propagate the Islamic religion in the community. He appealed to them to maintain the building for it to last
