Accra, March 19, GNA - The stage is set for Ghanaian Charismatic faithful and the larger Christian community to celebrate a decade of gospel music splash, 'Harvest Praise', on resurrection Sunday, March 23 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The gospel musical concert organized by Harvest International Ministries would be preceded by a gospel drama, interplay with charismatic chorographic performance on the life story of Jesus Christ christened the "Witness," on Good Friday at the National Theatre. As part of the celebration, international artistes from Cote d'Ivoire and America would team-up with the Evergreen Harvest Gospel Choir and other local gospel singers. Harvest Praise, which over the years has brought the nation's leading gospel bands under one roof, is without doubt the most patronized show in the Easter period.

The performers will be under the anointed baton of Mr Yaw Antwi-Dadzie, a renowned Charismatic Worship Leader as the group churns out a mixed-grill of its soul-inspiring songs, including the ever popular 'Womba' (we are coming) kpalongo' rendition, laced with heavy African drum background. In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr Frank Adu Asante, Chairman of the Planning Committee, said Harvest Praise 2008 would put to test the dexterousness of the choir and its capacity to adapt to the changing gospel musical trend.
