Ghanaian and international Ministers of the Gospel would from Thursday June 11, organise crusades and an evangelism conference to heal the psychologically traumatised and the physically and spiritually impaired.

The crusade, known as the Heart of Jesus Crusades (HOJC), is to be organised by the "Jesus is Lord Crusades", at Asamankese in the Eastern Region and Ada in the Greater Accra Region.

The evangelism conference would be held in Accra from June Wednesday 16 to 20.

Some of the Ministers to be expected are the Reverend Dr Ampiah Kwofie of Global Revival Ministries, Ghana; Rev George Addae-Mintah of Agape Life Ministries, USA; Rev Dr Fred Deegbe of Calvary Baptist Church, Ghana and Pastor Bernard Osei-Duah of Reigners Chapel International, South Africa.

Briefing the media on the programme, on Monday, Pastor Osei-Duah, the Media Liaison for the Crusades, said apart from spreading the Gospel, the crusade would also focus on the physical needs of the broken hearted by visiting the prisons to donate and organise medical screening, prayers and counselling sessions.

He said recent tragic developments in Ghana emphasised the need for such crusades and similar programmes to bring people together more than ever, seek divine intervention for Ghana and ask God for His guidance and protection to avert further disasters.

He stated: “We are also aware of the worrying developments in Ghana that has afflicted our beloved country in recent times, including the energy crisis and other general economic challenges such as unemployment, inflation, as well as the falling of the cedi against the dollar, and believing God through the crusades to intervene in a practical way”.

Pastor Duah entreated people from all walks of life and faith to take advantage of the crusades and conferences to renew their knowledge and faith in Jesus and pray together for the nation.
