Tema, Dec. 31, GNA - A pastor has appealed to Ghanaians to seek divine intervention as a means of solving the socio-economic problems and not to rely on politicians or the World Bank.

The Superintendent Minister of Saint Paul's Methodist Church in Tema, Very Reverend Aaron Gaisie-Amoah, however advised on the need to surrender to God's holiness by fasting and praying and the need to repent.

He was preaching at the opening of a three-day end of year convention held by the Church at Tema Community Two on Saturday with the theme 'God with us'. He reminded Christians to shun evil including corruption, homosexuality and robbery so that the blessing of God could come upon them.
