Pastor Daniel Atuahene, Founder of Holy Christ Key Stone Ministry, has called on Ghanaians to eschew laziness and to work hard to ensure the development of the country.
He said the development of the nation was not the sole responsibility of the government, but all Ghanaians.
Pastor Atuahene made the call at the launch of a revival of the church at Danfa-Adoteiman, near Madina in the Greater-Accra Region on Tuesday.
The four-day revival is on the theme “Bring Hilda and Slay Her Before Me”.
It is aimed at strengthening the physical and spiritual well-being of the people and also to equip them to face challenges ahead.
Pastor Atuahene said national development was a shared responsibility of the government and the people, and urged them to eschew lukewarm attitude to work, and also work hard to alleviate poverty in the country.
He advised Christians to lead lives worthy of emulation, and to do away with the get-rich-quick attitude engulfing the nation.
Pastor Atuahene also advised religious leaders not to concentrate only on the religious lives of their members, but also on their physical, social and economic well-being.
He called on drivers and other road users to be cautious to avoid accidents which can take lives during this year’s Christmas and New Year periods.
“The lives of passengers are very precious and should be protected at all times to contribute their quota for national development”, he noted.
