Ho, Feb. 13, GNA- Monsignor Anthony Kornu, Parish Priest of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Ho-Bankoe, on Wednesday called on the youth in the country and the general public to celebrate this year's Valentine's Day decently. The Day should be celebrated devoid of "hit and run" among the youth and infidelity among married people, Monsignor Kornu said in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Ho. He urged young people to guard against experimenting with drugs and sex on that day. Monsignor Kornu said while youths have the right to enjoy their youthfulness it was also important that they do not get carried away by the pleasures of the celebrations, instead of preserving themselves for their future life partners. He urged parents to be extra vigilant and not to allow their children to stay out all night on that day. Right Reverend Dr. Livingstone Buama, Moderator of the Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P.) Church also in an interview said, the day should be celebrated with the understanding of what true love is.
