Apostle Emmanuel K. Owusu Donkor, the General Secretary of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), has urged Ghanaians to gratefully utilise the quality human and natural resources God endowed the nation for the general prosperity of the citizenry.

He said because of the mighty hand of God over the country, Ghana had been spared the major natural calamities and manmade strife that other countries on the continent had suffered over the years.

Consequently, he said, every person in leadership position in the country must mobilise his or her people to focus on making use of the rich resources for our common good regardless of our differences.

Apostle Owusu Donkor was speaking at the Church’s Easter Convention at the Madina Area in Accra on the theme: “Using Christian Values to Impact the World.”

The general theme for the four-day national convention is “Impacting Our World.”

“In view of the social disorder and chaos that are threatening the peace and the survival of many countries around the world, if ‘dumsor’ is our major challenge now, then we must be grateful to God, and continually pray for His protection,” he said.

“The nation will rise above its problems through the Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ, which gives believers the mandate to conquer not only sins but all other challenges.”

Apostle Owusu Donkor reminded the Christians across the country to be encouraged by the message in the Gospel, according to Revelation 5:5, as Christ through the shedding of His blood would always stand in for his people.

“We only need time and, as we, Christians, continue to pray, God will bless Ghana and it will continue to shine among the nations,” he encouraged.

The congregation offered prayers for national unity, peace, and the development of the nation; and also for the national leaders across board to work in concert towards building the nation.
