Apostle Joseph Sekyi, Christian Education Director of the Christ Apostolic Church of Ghana, has asked Ghanaians to bury their differences and come together to solve the economic hardship.

“As Ghanaians we should put our differences aside and harness our efforts into action as we aspire for a common destiny. We should protect and make use of our natural resource to resolve our problems,” he said.

Apostle Sekyi gave the advice when he gave a sermon at a four-week “Fire Conference” organised by North Kaneshie Central branch of the Christ Apostolic Church of Ghana. The conference, on the theme: “Empowered for Exploits,” would end on August 3, 2014.

It is aimed at empowering Christians physically, socially, spiritually and economically. Speakers at the conference would include Apostle Dr Stephen Ntow Amoani, Chairman of the Church and Apostle William Amoaning, Mission Director of the Church.

Apostle Sekyi asked the citizenry to collectively fight corruption and to build a nation free from conflicts and greed. He said: “Ghanaians should be confident like the eagle and put their trust in God in this trying moments.”

Rev George Asante, Pastor of North Kaneshie Central branch, said God operates in many dimensions and that without His love mankind cannot get the strength and the gift as wished. He used the occasion to wish the Muslims a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
