Kumasi, April 10, GNA - The New Tafo Area of the Church of Pentecost has held its Easter Convention with a call on Christians not only to reconcile with God but to accept to live in genuine peace with their neighbours. Pastor J. K. Arhin, The Ahwiaa District Head, said the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, to bring man closer to his Creator, made it imperative for his followers to show love, care and affection for all. He was preaching on the theme: "The God of the Living died for you". More than 20,000 people congregated at the Suame State Boys School Park for the Convention.

Pastor J. K. He was preaching on the theme: "The God of the Living died for you". More than 20,000 people congregated at the Suame State Boys School Park for the Convention. He enjoined them to lead lives that would bring dignity and honour to the Christian religion, telling them that, "through the blood of Jesus, we are justified, forgiven and redeemed". Apostle Rigwell Ato Addison, the New Tafo Area Head, urged Christians to manifest socially acceptable lifestyles to serve as good example for society. "Let us show Christ-like qualities not only in Church but wherever we find ourselves" he added. Apostle Ato Addison said the church had a vision to plant and nurture healthy churches globally by establishing responsible and self-sustaining Christians, committed to positively influence the lives of others.
