NPP holds inter-denominational prayer session

The New Patriotic Party in the northern region has held its monthly series of inter-denominational prayer sessions for the party, calling on God to intervene to ensure victory for the party in the December 7 polls.

The NPP Northern Regional Prayer Coordinator, Jacob Amokona Twumasi who led the prayer session said the party is not taking anything for granted.

The prayer session which was done simultaneously across the ten region attended by some parliamentary candidates in the region and the northern region "prayer warriors" of the NPP.

The monthly prayer session is part of series of prayers the party across the country is embarking on to seek God's interventions the grant victory for the party in the upcoming general elections on 7 December.

Mr. Jacob Amokona Twumasi said it is key for members of the NPP to pull their spiritual powers together and pray ceaselessly to ensure victory for party.

He claimed that people will soon be rushing to write their names in the good books of the NPP to ensure victory for the party. In a speech read on his behalf, Daniel Bugri Naabu, Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP said the party belief in God and all machinations against the Presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo and his running mate or any member of the party will not see the light of the day.

He alluded to the recent display of a coffin displayed at the NDC campaign launch at Cape Coast to portray the corpse of Nana Akufo Addo.

He said they were all signs that their opponent, the NDC are trying devilishly to kill the NPP Presidential candidate.

But he however said their deeds will never succeed since the intervention of God is supreme.

He said Nana Akufo-Addo will live see us through December 7 and go into office as the president of the republic of Ghana from 7th January, 2017 till thy Kingdom come.

Bugri Naabu claimed that the NDC has exploited and subjected Ghanaians to misery and indignity occasioned by greed, wickedness and outright incompetence, opulence of the tax payer's money and must be voted out of power.
