Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah
Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has cautioned members of God’s Way International Church to be wary of their Bishop, Daniel Obinim.
Speaking on Accra FM on Friday, Owusu Bempah disclosed that Bishop Obinim is not to be trusted as a man of God because he is not. His statements come on the heels of earlier comments where he accused Obinim of being mentored or trained by a fetish priest called Okomfo Yaw Appiah, which Obinim has denied. In an angry audio, Obinim could be heard challenging Owusu Bempah to meet him, an angel, for a showdown.
A video that surfaced yesterday showed Owusu Bempah at Happy FM, asking the whereabouts of Obinim. He said he was there to honour the challenge thrown by Obinim, whom he called ‘Kwadwo Edem Obinim.’
Speaking on Accra FM, Owusu Bempah maintained that he is still opened for the challenge, condemning the authenticity of Obinim’s spiritual powers.
According to Owusu Bempah, he was approached many years ago by Obinim with the interest of being his spiritual father because he needed spiritual covering. However, Owusu Bempah realised that anytime he prayed for Obinim, he saw dwarfs surrounding him. “So I decided to talk to him and stop him from places he visited, but I never heard from him again and the phone number he gave me never worked,” Owusu Bempah said.
Owusu Bempah suggested to Obinim that he should be humble and avail himself to be delivered of the spiritual challenges he is facing. He stated that he does not envy Obinim because there is nothing Obinim has that he cannot afford. “Why should I envy him? I don’t need anything from him, but the bad paths he is threading. He is not of God. Once you enter his church, evil spirits enter you. He has buried dead bodies beneath his church.”
Owusu Bempah said it is not his intention to make all the revelations but Obinim is gone overboard.
“There are real pastors in Ghana, and there are false prophets too. It has been so since the days of Isaiah, and this is just fulfilling scriptures. There are some pastors like Prophet Annor whom I can defend with my blood as a true man of God.”
Owusu Bempah also mentioned Opoku Nsiah, Eastwood Anaba, Ransford Obeng, Heward-Mills, Mensa Otabil, among others as true men of God. He further questioned why Obinim had the audacity to insult Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah.
