Ofosu Ampofo urges Christians to pray for peaceful election

Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development at the weekend enjoined Christians to pray earnestly for God’s favour on the nation to ensure peaceful polls on December 7.

Mr Ofosu Ampofo who is also the National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Tema West made the call when he worshiped with six churches within the constituency on Sunday.

The churches were Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Hope Presbyterian Church, Global Evangelical Church, Christ Apostolic Church, New Anointing Ministries International and Christ Foundation Family Church.

He urged Ghanaians not to take the peace and stability in the country for granted, but to do all in their power to preserve the country against anarchy after the election.

Mr Ofosu Ampofo used the occasion to appeal to residents in the constituency to vote for him as their Member of Parliament to provide them with leadership with integrity.
