Prophet Kwame Darko-Mensah, Head of God’s Disciples’ College Church, Oyarifa in Accra, has asked political leaders to seek the presence of God and His guidance to ensure peace.
“If our political leaders do not seek the presence of God in all they do, the woes of this country would be worsened and the anger of God would be on the country,” he said.
Preaching to usher in 2016, Prophet Darko-Mensah said Ghana is blessed by God but “it is unfortunate that our leaders do not seek God’s guidance and direction in their decisions concerning governing the nation”.
Prophet Darko-Mensah said the Lord is gracious and compassionate; slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all, he has compassion on all he has made and urged Ghanaians to lead righteous lives to gain God’s mercy and love again.
He said the fruit of righteousness he said is peace and the effect of righteousness would be quietness and confidence for ever.
He urged Ghanaians to be more prayerful and acknowledge that Jesus is the Lord and before Him there is no other God and Ghana would certainly see the good works of the Lord.
