Political parties told to maintain peace

Cape Coast, Jan. 4, GNA - The Presiding Elder of the AME Zion Church in Cape Coast has appealed to members of political parties to tolerate each other to ensure that peace and harmony continue to prevail in the country.

Delivering his New Year message at the Varrick Memorial Church in Cape Coast, the Rev. Wilberforce Wireko said the country could achieve socio-economic growth only in an atmosphere of peace.

He appealed to politicians to take stock of their activities and endeavour to improve on them in the New Year.
