Akim Oda (E/R), Nov. 14, GNA - Politicians have been urged to seek the nation's interest instead of pursuing parochial and debased objectives. Reverend Herbert Mensah, General Overseer of the Evangelistic Living Christ Ministry made the appeal in a sermon he delivered on achieving successful and peaceful elections. He expressed regret on the unhealthy and sometimes slanted match that characterised the political debates. Rev. Mensah called for proactive contribution, which will ensure national development devoid of partisan lines. He advised politicians to do away with campaign of acrimony and rancour, which continues to deepen the cracks in our body politic.
