Pastor Stephen Barfour Awuah of the Alajo District Christ Apostolic Church International has appealed to religious leaders to continue in their prayers for divine intervention in the current energy crisis being experienced in the country.

He said “unless God built the house and watched over the city, the builder and the watchman labour in vain.”

Pastor Barfour Awuah made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency when the Alajo branch of the church began a weeklong revival in Accra under the theme; “Let me not be ashamed.”

The Pastor said the revival was aimed at breaking the foundational altars and curses of the devil for the people to evangelize and win souls.

He expressed worry about the unnecessary arguments and insults among politicians that often breed conflicts and tension among the citizenry saying for democracy to thrive, Ghanaians must support a good leader who would bring progress and development to the people.
