The founder and leader of In Him Is Life Church International and the C.E.O of OPFA Group of Companies, Prophet Isaac Opoku popularly called Prophet Obotuo has received a Global Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic works and dedication to the upliftment of the poor and vulnerable in society.

Prophet Isaac Opoku, who is also the founder of IHIL Online TV and In Him Is Life Online Radio, was also recognized for his dedication to the Ministry of God.

The Awards which were presented to him by the Outstanding Leadership Forum, are to encourage him to do more and continue to impact positively, the lives of many people across the globe.

Presenting the awards at a brief but colorful ceremony, Bishop Frederick Akakpo, Regional Director for Outstanding Leadership Forum in his opening remarks described Prophet Isaac Opoku as a man of many parts.

According to him, Prophet Isaac Opoku’s works are not only limited to the pulpit alone but transcend beyond the pulpit; which have been a blessing to many people.

Bishop Frederick Akakpo averred that Prophet Isaac Opoku is a counselor, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist and a man of deep faith whose contributions to national development and discourse cannot be ignored.

He revealed that the Outstanding Leadership Forum has since 2016 been observing the works and activities of Prophet Isaac Opoku and “this is the right time the Forum deems it fit to present to him these awards. This is to encourage him to do more. This is not for him to relent on his oars but for him to appreciate the fact that people are watching his good works and in due time he will be rewarded. For the Bible says, In God’s own time, He makes things beautiful.”

He also described Prophet Isaac Opoku as a true man of God who pursues development that transforms society and he (Prophet Isaac Opoku) regularly rebukes the church whenever they go wrong and bring them in constant consonance with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Frederick Akakpo also said Prophet Isaac Opoku’s assistance to the poor and vulnerable during the COVID-19 lockdown period was amazing and that unlike most men of God, Prophet Isaac Opoku has set himself apart as someone who sees giving to the poor as the best calling from God as far as his Ministry is concern.

Bishop Frederick Akakpo however urged people who are trying to dent the image of Prophet Isaac Opoku to have a second thought, shut up and pray to God to give them a discerning spirit to see the truth.

In the same vein, President of Outstanding Leadership Forum, Dr. Gordon P. David congratulated Prophet Isaac Opoku for the awards and said the awards are the beginning of good things to come only if he, Prophet Isaac Opoku, go beyond what he has done in the lives of people.

Receiving the awards, Prophet Isaac Opoku (Obotuo) expressed appreciation to the Forum for the honour done him.

He said although he hasn’t found the journey so easy, the challenges he faced made him a better person.

Prophet Isaac Opoku however pledged to do more than what the Forum observed so far so that he will continue to win other awards in the near future.

Speaking in an interview at the sidelines of the ceremony on why he goes beyond the Pulpit and be described as a man of many parts, Prophet Isaac Opoku said since he entered into Ministry, he tried to add more to the Church work so as to be able to become a strong entrepreneur and be able to help mankind.

He said it is high time pastors go beyond the pulpit and work and support the needy people.

“It is about time pastors work and help the needy people so as to transform the society. That is why I go beyond the pulpit,” he said.

Prophet Isaac Opoku sees the awards as great achievement that is an indication of the fact that people are really watching whatever he does and whatever evil plot others might orchestrate against him will not see the light of day.

“This award is enough to tell people who Prophet Isaac Opoku really is. Awards are given to people on merit and I think with this award, nothing people will say against me that will move me,” he said.
