Evangelist Collins Darko, who is known by his popular Professor DJ Collins name, has sparked a controversy insisting that, reincarnation is real.
In his view, when one dies and you have loopholes, you get the opportunity to come back to life and correct your mistakes.
In his explanation, the award winning DJ told DJ Slash, sit-in host on the Away Bus Show that, in the olden days we had what we called the law of karma. In every action, there is equal or opposite reactions.
The Law of Moses was the karma. When you die and you go to Heaven you will still come back to this earth.
The bible he indicated gives strong evidence to reincarnation. Using the story of John the Baptist as an example, he said, the prophet came to lay the foundation for Christ Jesus.
He was later beheaded. You read the book of Malachi 4:5, it was said that, Elijah would come and pave the way for God to come (“See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.(NIV Version).
‘’What I want to state is that, when you die, your soul goes for judgement but the body rots here on earth and when you have not lived a perfect life, you are given a second chance to come and correct the wrongs,’’ he added.
Elijah was a reincarnation of John the Baptist and made reference to Matthew 17:10-13 (10 The disciples asked him, “Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?” 11 Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things.12 But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished.
In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist. NIV Version).
According to him, modern day prophets, evangelists, preachers are not teaching Christians the true reflections of the word of God.
Meanwhile, Sheik Ali has disagreed with him stating that, reincarnation is not accepted in Islam because it is appointed unto man to die once and after death judgment.
He has indicated that evil spirits and witches are responsible for manipulating the system to make it look as if the dead individual has returned back to life.
‘’The devil is responsible for evil manipulations. The devil uses the images of the dead and makes them appear as if they are the ones who died,’’ he added.
