Reverend Father Eric Oduro Wiafe passes on

A priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, Fr. Eric Oduro Wiafe, has passed on.

Fr. Eric Oduro Wiafe, who was the Acting Rector and Dean of Academics at the Catholic Institute of Business and Technology (CBIT) in Accra, died, July 25, 2024, at the age of 59, according to an obituary by the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra.

“The late Fr. Eric Oduro Wiafe was born on August 10, 1965, and ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Accra on July 22, 1995…

“I request that Holy Masses be offered for the peaceful rest of his soul and also strength and consolation for the bereaved family,” the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John B. Kwofie, said in a statement.
