The clergy have been urged to reach out to all people with the true bible teachings to purge the society of cruelty, greed, and selfishness.

Apostle Paul Kofi Nyamah of the Maranatha Assemblies of God at Kentinkrono, Kumasi, said they had a duty to help everybody to uphold “our common humanity”.

He was delivering a sermon at the ordination service held for seven newly trained pastors at the True Vision Ministry Bible College at Denyasi, near Asante-Bekwai.

The graduating ministers - Samuel Obeng, Kofi Williams, Peter Oppong, Comfort Appiah, Allan Gyimah, Mary Aboagye Nyame and Richard Aboagye have completed a two-year course in theology and were presented certificates.

Apostle Nyamah said the expectation of them was that they would work with passion and zeal to bring salvation to the people.

They should do this by leading honest, sincere and transparent lives to become good examples not only to their congregation but others in their community.

He reminded them to continue to pray unceasingly for God’s guidance in every step they took and everything they did.

Mr. Gabriel Bernard Owusu, the Principal of the College, announced plans to set up a scholarship scheme to support people from poor homes who were eager to enter priesthood to train there.

He praised the graduating students for their comportment and extraordinary commitment to the spread of the gospel.
