The woman God uses is the one who is humble and filled with the Holy Spirit, Rev. Dr. Josephine Adjema has said.
Such a woman, she explained, is the purified vessel ready for use by the master.
Rev Dr Adjema who preached the sermon last Sunday to climax the week-long activities of the Women’s Fellowship of the Winners Chapel, Madina Branch, said, women and for that matter Christians, must avail themselves to be used by God.
The theme for the celebration was: “The Women God Uses”.
She urged the women to walk in the grace of God and be the person God wants them to be, adding, “As we continually dwell in that awesome grace, we should not be afraid of being used by God.”
Rev Dr Adjema exhorted the women to believe in Jesus and love one another because “it is only in Christ that our destiny is established.”
“Jesus is our life; the blood he shared is sufficient to make us whole,” she told the enthusiastic congregation and reminded them that though the Gospel was simple, it was very powerful.
“It is given to us at God’s initiative and it’s an expression of His love for us,” she further explained, adding, “Jesus exhibited this kind of power and challenged us to do the same.”
The President of the Women’s Fellowship, Mawuse Dadjo, advised the women to love their stepchildren and their house helps since they could grow up to become the doctors and nurses who would be at their bedside in their old age.
