The Suapolor of the Se Traditional Area in the Dangme West District of Ghana, His Royal Majesty Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, has stated that until Ghanaians realize the God-given power entrusted in their hands to rule their own affairs and utilize it effectively to their advantage, they will forever continue to wallow in poverty and misery.

According to him, the power to determine the future is in the hands of every Ghanaians which is a gift from God but regretted most people have still utilized that unique power to bring about the desired changes in their lives as a result, evaded the blessings of God.

“God has put so much in our hands, he has given us the opportunity, life and gifts. If we learn to use our hands and our heads don’t get lazy, we can achieve anything in life”.

Nene Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, made this known in his sermon on the topic: “the power of the hand” at the gathering of worshippers of the Praise Family Chapel located at Nanakrom near Ashaley Botwe in Accra.

Ghana is uniquely blessed among few African countries with so much resources such as huge water bodies, mineral resources, fertile lands, timber, cocoa, human resources among others. Despite the abundance of these resources, most Ghanaians still live in penury while our leaders continue to beg for alms in the west and now China. Among numerous reasons cited by various critics as a contributory factor, some school of thought holds the view that bad leadership is to blame as the main cause of problem.

But in his sermon, His Royal Majesty(HRM) Drolor Bosso Adamtey I who also doubles as the founding pastor of the Life International Church in Durham, North Carolina thinks otherwise.

He postulates that the bane of vast majority of Ghanaians was as a result of their inability to realize the power in their hands to utilize to determine their own future and therefore leave their fate in the hands of others.

“It is very interesting; most Ghanaians don’t know there’s power in their hands. We always think that somebody has the power in their hands and can determine our life and future”.

“So many times, we blame things on others and it looks like we put our hands in hands of those who can’t keep us safe”.

His Royal Majesty, Drolor Bosso Adamtey I averred that it is about time Ghanaians take their destiny into their own hands and set themselves free from the grips of powers that be (western world, China and many others).

Citing the ‘big six’ as a typical example of noble men who charted similar course to position Ghana at its current status, His Royal Majesty, who is also the founder of Fletcher Ministries, a “vast conglomerate” of evangelical and commercial activity said: “We have to take the destiny in our hands as a country just as the big six did and realized the destiny of Ghana in their hands knowing they can’t wait for someone to determine our future”.

He also stressed that: “For us to preserve our own destiny, we have to first redeem our destiny, protect our destiny and preserve our destiny, adding, “the life of Ghana is in the hands of Ghanaians, the future of Ghana is in the hands of Ghanaians and it is time for us to put our hands on deck to determine our own destiny instead of leaving it in the hands of others”.
