Rev Samuel Cosmos Kodjo Akomeah, Area Head Pastor, Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) Nkawkaw, has asked Christians and the public to trust in the Lord but not on the huge promises of politicians in the year 2015.

He said this on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 speaking on the theme: “The Lord will deliver you, on the text, 2Kings 18:19 – 22, 28 - 29” at the church’s crossover night held for all Christians to thank God for seeing the country and individuals through 2014 and relay their petitions and resolutions for the new year to God.

“You will hear boastful speeches from politicians, friends, church goers, members of your church, customers, on radio , Television; however don’t panic, or follow them to ungodly places, trust only in God and will surely deliver you,” he said.

He reckoned that the year 2015 will not be so easy, but it will be a year of grace and rest for his children; No matter what happens, economic hardships, unexpected deaths, wickedness, violence, disappointments among others, but those who trust in the Lord will surely be delivered.

Rev Akomeah urged the congregation to work very hard this year to repair their weak policies, visions, plans and reinforce the profitable ones as well as reshape their old mentality.

Members of the church were in high spirits full of praise and excitement danced, prayed and petitioned their requests to God for the New Year.
