The General Overseer of the Action Chapel International Ministry, Nicholas Duncan-Williams, offered a passionate prayer for outgoing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during a church service on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
The pastor led his congregation to pray that Akufo-Addo's last days in office and his exit from office would not be marked by chaos.
He prayed that Akufo-Addo’s legacy would not be an exit from office marked by chaos.
“I want us to pray for the outgoing president that he will exit in peace, not in chaos. It is a prayer we owe him. He has had two terms, which we have always known and prayed on.
“Let us pray that he would exit in peace and not in chaos. Put your hands up, pray that prayer for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and pray that his exit would be peace and not chaos. In the name of Jesus, pray for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that his exit would be peace and not chaos. In the name of Jesus,” he prayed.
"The general overseer continued, “Anything that would cause his exit to create any confusion, we block it in the name of Jesus. Hear me, I want us to pray a prophetic prayer, that anything in the womb of time that is programmed to cause the exit of our outgoing president to be chaotic and not peaceful, we block it… Let that not be his legacy but let his legacy be that of peace and not chaos, in the name of Jesus, Amen.”
