Bishop Bonegas
The leader and founder of the Great Fire Pentecostal Church, Bishop Bonegas, has explained why he dismissed a church member who offered GH¢500.
He explained that a woman who had problem with her leg due to spiritual attacks from her late husband's family attended his congregation.
It was indicated that the woman went to the church after her condition did not improve despite seeking medical attention.
Bishop Bonegas discovered the spiritual cause of her ailment and, through God's power, delivered her.
"A woman came to my church with a rotting leg despite receiving medical treatment. I commanded the spirit behind it to leave, and then her husband's relative's spirit appeared, demanding that the woman give them the house built by her husband.
"The house has 15 rooms; the husband had given 7 to his family and left 8 for the woman, but they wanted to take her share as well. After delivering her, two weeks later, her leg was healed," he said in Twi during an interview with Zionfelix.
The clergyman disclosed that he sacked the woman from his office after she offered GH¢500, out of the huge amount she earns from rent.
"I asked her to rent out one of the rooms and use the money as an offering. She refused. Later, she brought an envelope with GH¢500, yet one room's rent is GH¢24,000. So I asked her to leave," he added.
