Asamankese (E/R), Jan. 15, GNA - The Christ Compassion Ministry International, a religious organization with its Headquarters at Asamankese in the Eastern Region, has turned out over 200 Pastors and Evangelists from its Bible College at Edwenase-Osino since its establishment in 1983.

Apostle Joel Kofi Ayim, Founder and Leader of the Ministry, stated this when he interacted with media practitioners at Asamankese at the weekend.

The interaction formed part of the weeklong annual convention of the Ministry attended by thousands of members from all the ten regions, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire and the United States of America. Apostle Ayim said the function was to provide an insight into the Ministry's role in the social, moral, economic and spiritual development of the nation.

Apostle George Manfo, General Secretary of the Ministry, said the training, which last two years was free because it wanted to train as many young people as possible to spread the Word of God.

He said to prevent the graduates of the College from depending solely on pastoral functions for their livelihood, it also offered them technical training in building construction, carpentry and agriculture. Apostle Banfo said most of the graduates were posted to the regions where they combined mason, carpentry and farming with their pastoral and evangelical duties to make them economically self-reliant.

He said the free training and technical education offered students was attracting more students into the College.
