Kumasi, Feb. 19, GNA- Mr. E.W.H Abaidoo, National Secretary of the Association of Methodist Men's Fellowships, has asked members to take active part in the Church's evangelisation programme to facilitate the development of the religious body.

He noted that men's fellowship was the bedrock of the Church and members should therefore, not relent in their efforts at spreading the gospel to win more souls for Christ.

Mr. Abaidoo said these when he was inaugurating the Afrancho Gethsemane Methodist Men's Fellowship in Kumasi, on Sunday. He said "It behoves all members to take active part in all Church programmes, whiles they do not shirk their responsibilities as family members".

The Very Reverend J.K.Forson, Superintendent Minister of Suame Circuit of the Methodist Church, re-echoed that men's fellowship should be the foundation for the growth of the Church. He said "Christianity is not all joy, for at times you face difficulties and hardships as a test of your faith in God". Mr. Asare Yeboah, Kumasi Diocesan Chairman of the Men's Fellowship, said efforts had been intensified to open more branches of the Church in the area. 19 Feb. 07
