Word of the Living God to the President

Wed, 19 Dec 2007 Source: Apostle Mawuetornam Dugbazah

Greetings Mr. President, how are you? I am alive and well. As always, God bless you and may His holy face shine upon you.

Of course, this letter is a follow up to my last letter. It is written, ?€?Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not?€? (Proverbs 29:24). Like all Spirit-of-God inspired proverbs, this ancient Hebrew saying tells of a time tested truth. As children, many were taught never to enter into an agreement with thieves. Why? At the end of it all, you will wind up with the blame for theft and the instigators of theft will act as though you were the ring leader to begin with. Does the story sound familiar? Anyone who enters into a contract with a thief does not value his or her own well-being. This is what it means to hate ?€?his own soul?€?. Like a spoken a curse to which a right response should be given, such a person does not do what is necessary to rebuke and expose wrongdoing. Rather, he or she is aware of wrongdoing but covers their ears as though they did not hear anything. In the end, neglect of righteous duty leads such an individual to become an accomplice of thieves, thereby bringing a curse into his or her own life.

Mr. President, please ponder this question: what happens when the person who partners with thieves is a grown up? Oh yes, it is easy for Ghanaian elders to speak about the corruption of youth. It is easy to say to young people: do not partner with thieves. So then, what happens when the elder is the culprit? Among the Evhe of West Africa, we have a saying. It goes likes this, ?€?????vi si nyaa asikoklo la, e??ua nu kpl?? am??tsitsiwo (The child who knows how to wash his hands eats with the elders). Such proverbs admonishing us to spiritual purity assume that elders themselves are morally upright. However, there are times in history when we come across a generation of elders who are so morally bankrupt that there is insecurity for even the upright in the earth. In such cases can we rely on the ?€?elder?€? to be the example? No. In such cases, God help us, and He will. How? As it has been since ancient times, He will speak by the prophet.

So says the living God to the Presidents of West Africa, ?€?I have loved the men I appoint to high places. They work for God, even when they don?€?t know it. I will haunt them, even when they do what is right. For this haunting will be to their own approval. Seek me. In the will of God you will see many righteous acts in your lives. When you look for me, you will know me. My will is simple: obedience to righteousness. When you know me, you know what is right.?€?

Sincerely, Apostle Mawuetornam Dugbazah Apostle?€?s Revelation Ministry (ARM)
