Kyebi (E/R), July 21, GNA- Ghanaians have been advised to learn to put the past behind them and forgive one another, so that they would continue to enjoy the peace and stability that the country provides. Reverend Father Robert O. Ankrah, Parish Priest of Kyebi St. Marks Anglican Parish, gave the advice at the inauguration of the Women's Fellowships of the Parish and the Akim Odumase St. Peter's Anglican Church at Kyebi, on Sunday.
Kyebi (E/R), July 21, GNA- Ghanaians have been advised to learn to put the past behind them and forgive one another, so that they would continue to enjoy the peace and stability that the country provides. Reverend Father Robert O. Ankrah, Parish Priest of Kyebi St. Marks Anglican Parish, gave the advice at the inauguration of the Women's Fellowships of the Parish and the Akim Odumase St. Peter's Anglican Church at Kyebi, on Sunday. He explained that, bitterness, hatred and retaliations never promoted peace and happiness, and advised members of the fellowship to learn to forgive one another, if they are to build a happy fellowship. Rev. Fr. Ankrah said those who out of bitterness, refuse to attend church service or participate in the activities of their societies, should realize that their actions never stopped the progress of the society though sometimes created temporal tension. The inaugural ceremony was performed by the Diocesan Chaplin of the Women's Fellowship of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, Rev Fr. William Obiri and supported by Archdeacon Joseph Opare Heneku, Archdeacon of Obo Archdeaconry of the church. Archdeacon Heneku later inducted Ms Patience Tettey, President of the Women's Fellowship of Kyebi St. Marks Anglican Parish into the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of the parish. 21 July 2008
