Akufo-Addo Still Smokes Wee

Apologists of NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, desperately wanting to free him from the wee and cocaine mess he finds himself entangled in have tried to belittle the issue by stating variously that the likes of U.S. President, Barak Obama and his predecessors, George Bush Jnr and Bill Clinton confessed to having once abused drugs.

What these NPP fanatics seek to claim is that having once used drugs does not make a person unfit to be President of his country.

The Daily Post, however, can state authoritatively that Nana Akufo-Addo’s drug conundrum is totally different from that of President Obama and his predecessors. Unlike the U.S. Presidents who stopped smoking wee long before they launched their bid for the Presidency and thus were able to confess having smoked before, Nana Akufo-Addo cannot confess to having smoked wee before because he is still smoking it!

It is one of the reasons that he cannot drag his accusers to court or go for a blood test to establish whatever innocence he claims in the matter. Unlike some NPP supporters who believe that the drugs allegations against him are mere propaganda to destroy his image, the NPP flagbearer knows the allegations are true. Dragging his accusers to court or going for the blood test will simply establish the truth that he is a junkie. Since the allegations began making the rounds, started by his own party members, Akufo-Addo has chosen mostly not to deny or confirm it. His spokespersons, some of whom the Daily Post can state authoritatively are wee smokers themselves, have been the ones he has relied on to limit the damage to his name as a result of the allegations.

The spokespersons have, however, rather added salt to injury by making conflicting statements about his addiction to illicit drugs.

While some have claimed that he has never smoked wee or sniff cocaine, others have said or implied that he once smoked and sniffed cocaine but has put an end to it.

The truth, however, is that neither the allegations against him, nor his burning desire to be President of Ghana, has compelled the NPP flagbearer to stop smoking the grass.
