Another MP To Resign From NDC

Information reaching newsmen indicate that the NDC MP for Ayawaso East is about to announce his resignation from the party. He would be the second MP from the minority in parliament just after a week today when Prof Wayo Seini MP for Tamale Central resigned citing lack of internal party democracy and cross carpet to the NPP.

The sources disclose this to newsinghana.com adding that some supporters of the MP from the constituency which has become Nima constituency followed him to the Bervely hotel in Asylum Down in Accra today, Wednesday where they were awarded with rice and sardines. Unconfirmed reports also had it that he appointed ambassador designate to Saudi Arabia. The source said Dr. Obed Asamoah, Dr. Edmond Delle, Ms Francise Assiam and other leading angry NDC members were at the meeting which incidentally was conveyed.

This is certainly yet another blow on the face of the seemingly dying NDC, the nation's only hope to hold the NPP government on its toes in sustaining the young multi party democracy which after its national delegates congress in Koforidua last year have had some of it leading members resigning citing lack of internal democracy
